This will cover such engagements, initiatives, and activities as:
- Reconciliation and reintegration in conflict-affected communities;
- Community dialogues – to foster social cohesion; reduce conflict, and enhanced enduring peaceful co-existence;
- Holding Peace Events: Sports for peace, cultural activities for social cohesion;
- Building capacity for gender-sensitive peace and sustainable development;
- Early warning and response – supporting activities of conflict monitors, analysts, and mediators; setting up a gender-sensitive EWER at the community levels; linking up with the grassroots, local, state, and national peace architecture;
- Supporting peacebuilding Activities of Peace Clubs in educational institutions;
- Environmental sustainability, climate-smart agriculture, food and nutrition security;
- Sub-granting/funding of work plans of community (traditional, women, and youth) leaders to implement peacebuilding strategies;
- Linkages with peace-building agencies, and academic institutions on mutually beneficial relationships towards sustainable peace and development;
- Learning visits to Peace Institutes of post-conflict nations, to under-study lessons learned and best practices.
